This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Passport Bros Connect ("the App") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the App. This Privacy Policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by 12420945 CANADA CORP ("the Developer").

  1. Personal Identification Information: The App may collect personal identification information from Users in various ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the App, register on the App, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on our App. Users may be asked for their name, email address, and other relevant information. Users may, however, visit our App anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain App-related activities.

  2. Non-personal Identification Information: The App may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with the App. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of device, and technical information about Users' means of connection to our App, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

  3. Web Browser Cookies: Our App may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. Users' web browsers place cookies on their hard drives for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Users may choose to set their web browsers to refuse cookies or to alert them when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the App may not function properly.

The Developer may collect and use Users' personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service: Information Users provide helps us respond to their customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our App.
  • To improve our App: We continually strive to improve our App offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from Users.
  • To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to respond to Users' inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If Users decide to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time Users would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Protection of User Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of Users' personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our App.

Sharing Users' Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

The Developer maintains a strict policy against objectionable content and abusive users. Users found to be engaging in objectionable behavior or sharing abusive content will be subject to immediate removal and potential legal action as deemed necessary. The Developer reserves the right to monitor user activity and content shared within the App to ensure compliance with this policy.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Developer has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any 

changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using the App, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (referred to as "User" or "you") and 12420945 CANADA CORP (referred to as "Developer" or "we") for the use of the Passport Bros Connect mobile application ("App"). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

License Grant

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on compatible devices.

Restrictions on Use

You shall not:

  1. Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the App or any part thereof.
  3. Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the App.
  4. Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  5. Transmit any objectionable, offensive, or abusive content through the App.
  6. Use the App to harass, intimidate, or harm other users.
  7. Share or distribute the App to any third party without the prior written consent of the Developer.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App and all related intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Developer. This Agreement does not convey to you any rights of ownership in the App or its intellectual property.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the App, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate this Agreement by uninstalling the App from your device. The Developer may terminate this Agreement at any time without prior notice if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the use of the App and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations.
